How to enable two step verification in DropBox?

Dropbox has finally introduced two step verification to secure user accounts.



Why use two step verification in Dropbox?
This helps to secure your Dropbox account. When this option is enabled, Dropbox will ask you a a six-digit security code in addition to your password whenever you sign in or link a new device to your Dropbox account.



How to enable two step verification for Dropbox  account?
1. Login in to your Dropbox account
2. Go to Security tab
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, change the Two-step verification to enable.

4.You will need to re-enter your account password.
   You can choose to receive the six digit code by text message or to use a mobile app.

Here we will see how to enable two-step verification using text messages

5. Enter your mobile phone number and in the next step enter the code you received on your mobile phone.
6. Note the 16 digit security code and keep it safe and select Enable two-step verification.

You can also choose to enable two step verification option for your Google account .
