Let me illustrate the use of the Image Resizer powertoy. What it does is resizes the original image on your computer which maybe in jpeg, and gif formats. You can even specify whether you want to create a new image or replace the original. On top of it you can also reduce the image size of pictures in windows with the help of this powertoy. Eg:- A picture of size 1 Megabyte can be reduced to a size 72 Kilobyte.
