Adding Twitter Gadget for Blogger

Twitter allows avariety of widgets,buttons and mobile applications that can be added to blogs,mobile devices and websites. However it is important that you add gadgets that are provided only by Twitter.

How to add a Twitter Follow me button to a Blogger blog?
Adding a Twitter button is simple as adding gadgets to a Blogger blog. Please see this blog post, that explains how to add a gadget to a blogger.

Steps to add a Twitter Follow me or Follow Us button
 
1. Go to the official official Twitter buttons page.

2. Notice that the buttons say Follow ME on twitter. You can also change it to Follow US, by clicking the option provided at the bottom. Select the button that blends with your website or blog layout.

3. Click the button you like and it shows you at the code which is necessary to display the button. Copy and paste it to an area where you want the button to appear.

4.For Blogger blogs, paste the above code inside the HTML / JavaScript  gadget provided by blogger.

2. Notice that you can customize the appearance of the widget. Select proper dimensions for the Twitter widget as per your website or blog layout. The colors of the widget should also blend with your website or blog.

Click the Test settings button at the bottom to actually see how the Twitter widget will look in your blog or website.

3. Click on the Finish & Grab Code to get the code necessary to display the widget.

4. For Blogger blogs, paste the above code inside the HTML / JavaScript  gadget provided by blogger. You can also insert the code by clicking the Add to Blogger button.

  6. you can't customize the twitter widget as your picture shows...it's just one color, dark or light...and it doesn't match my website....
