Managing your contacts in the cloud using Gist

Contacts are virtually everywhere. Friends and family are on Facebook, Twitter and are also present in the address book of Gmail and Microsoft outlook. So how do you manage all your contacts?

 A startup called Gist aims at helping manage all contacts as if they belong to a single network.

Gist is way ahead of its competitors in the CRM business.

What a user gets is a simple dashboard where emails/ conversations are arranged in the order of importance.

 The level of importance can be manually set, giving the user the power to choose which contacts are really important


The Outlook plug-in though slow is effective in sending crucial data back to the Gist central server. It can be irritating sometimes.

Also Gist can easily integrates with Gmail, Google Apps, Facebook and Twitter.
